The Power Meter:

The use of special abilities for both teams is governed by a power meter. The power meter holds eight units, and each unit is apportioned to one of the two teams at all times. Each team begins the game with four units of power:

Wolves :: {}{}{}{}|{}{}{}{} :: Humans

Each time that team uses an ability, that ability's cost in units is deducted from the team's total power and added to the total power of the other team. A team cannot use more power in a single phase than it is allotted at the beginning of that phase, and it cannot regenerate power in any way other than by receiving it from the other team.

Abilities can only be used during the night phase. They can be used multiple times per phase with no penalty unless otherwise stated.

Wolf Special Abilities:

Note: All ability costs increase by one point at the beginning of Night 4.

Shamanism- Determine the apparent colour of the target player. [Cost: 1]
Paint - Target player is seered the chosen colour for two phases (one night, one day) (green) or four phases (two nights, two days) (red). [Cost: 1]
Pierce - Kill attempts against the target player cannot be guarded that phase. [Cost: 2]
Charisma - Target player's vote is worth +1. [Cost: 2 (1st time), 3 (2nd time)]
Brutality - If target player is killed, a random human who participated in the kill also dies. [Cost: 3]
Assassinate - Kill target player. [Cost: 5]

Human Special Abilities:

Note: All ability costs increase by one point at the beginning of Night 4.

Guard - Protect target player from nighttime death. Can guard multiple players per night. Can guard self. [Cost: 1]
Charisma - Target player's vote is worth +1. Usable twice. [Cost: 1 (1st use in game), 2 (2nd use in game)]
Seer - Determine the apparent colour of the target player. Usable twice per night. [Cost: 2 (1st use in phase), 3 (2nd use in phase)]
Cardflipping - Activates cardflipping for six phases (three nights, three days). Players' (apparent) colours are publicly revealed upon their death. [Cost: 3]
Vigilantism - Kill target player. [Cost: 4]

Power Decay

If a team fails to use any powers on two consecutive night phases, they will automatically lose power to the other team, as follows:

0-4 stored power - 0 points
5-6 stored power - 1 point
7-8 stored power - 2 points

Decay will continue each night until a power is used.

Priority:

Painting > Seering/Guarding/Brutal/Cardflipping > Vigi/Assassin

Victory Conditions:

Wolves: Win when the number of wolves is greater than or equal to the number of humans at the end of the day phase.
Humans: Win when all of the wolves are dead.

Notes:

- Instas are on.
- Seering results will be sent to the player who submits the seering PM, unless he specifies otherwise. If the receiver is killed that phase, the results are lost.
- The brutal power works on vigi kills and wolfings as well. It can be used on a wolf or human player.
