Host: Nermal

Game:

My first attempt of hosting TWG! :jinjo: This game is virtually similar to any other simple TWG game, the only real difference is the inclusion of kidnapping, which is a combination of guard, revoke, and silence. A psychic is included to tell how many red roles there are left in the game and a painter is there to throw the psychics readings off a little. An angel is included, but he is an easily claimable role so be careful! Moreover, he's seered the exact same color as other colors that are dangerous to the humans. The game is the exact same. Wolves bring down the humans to an even ratio and humans win if they eliminate all the wolves. The only difference is that lynches must be privately pm'd to the host. The vote could be posted on the topic if they really want to, but it will not be counted if it's not PM'd to the host.

Count Olaf & His Theater Group

1. Count Olaf; Kidnaps any orphans from the game. That player's power will be revoked. Kidnapped orphan cannot be targeted, lynched, and cannot vote. Kidnapped orphan can still post on the topic.

2. Esme Squalor; Painter Wolf; Using her charisma and her superior sense of what's "in" and what's "out", Esme will convince any player to change their color. Player will remain that color until the next night phase.

3. Carmelita; Wolf Shaman; Carmelita is a spoiled brat, but despite her unpleasant personality, she is immensely popular. She can seer the color from any player that she deems to be a "cakesniffer".

4. Hook-Handed Man A man of with a hook instead of a hand. His sister is Fiona, but has no real relevance in the game. He's a normal wolf.

5. Ernest Denouement; Wolf Assassin; The evil brother of the triplet Denouement Brothers. He very closely resembles his brothers that it's very difficult to distinguish him from his other two brothers. Listen to him closely, though! His words will reflect which side he's on*; Kills any player during night phase. Does not know the identity of the other wolves.

Poor Unfortunate Orphans (and Madame Lulu :jinjo:)

6. Violet Baudelaire; Seer. Violet Baudelaire is a brilliant inventor, quite possibly the finest 15 year old inventor in the world! She can invent a telescope out of shards of glass, an empty water bottle, and a bottle cap and use it to see the color of any player.

7. Klaus Baudelaire; Researcher; Klaus Baudelaire loves to research, and everything he researches he remembers. Klaus can use his researching skills to research who the player voted for in the entire game.

8. Sunny Baudelaire; Vigilante; Sunny loves to bite. She would bite any player in the game.

9. Friday; Guard; The only child in the entire world who was not afraid to stand up to Olaf and his shenanigans. Friday will guard any player from the game.

10. Madame Lulu; Psychic; Madame Lulu is a self-proclaimed psychic at the Carnivorous Carnival. She will be told the number of red colors left in the game at end of the night phase.

11. Frank Denouement;Angel; The good brother of the Denouement triplets. He very closely resembles his brothers that it's very difficult to distinguish him from his other two brothers. Listen to him closely, though! His words will reflect which side he's really on.* Upon death, Frank will be able to revive on person back into the game. He cannot use it on himself. Does not know he's an angel.

12. Duncan Quagmire; Human; The identical twin brother of Isadora and Quigley. Duncan is a journalist, but is otherwise a normal human. Will be told he's a normal human.

13. Isadora Quagmire; Human; The identical twin sister of Duncan and Quigley Quagmire. She's a poet, but she is otherwise a normal human. Will be told she's a normal human.

14. Quigley Quagmire; Human; The identical twin brother of Duncan and Isadora Quagmire. He's a cartographer, but is otherwise a normal human. Will be told he's a normal human.

15. Collette the Contortionist; Human; The freakish contortionist in the house of freaks in the Carnivorous Carnival. She works for Madame Lulu, then later joins Olaf, but is otherwise a normal human. She's told she's a normal human.

16. Hugo the Hunchback; Human; This freakish hunchback will try on every coat you'll give him so that you can laugh at his unusually shaped backside. He works at the Carnivorous Carnival for Madame Lulu, then later joins Olaf, but is otherwise a normal human. Told he's a normal human.

17. Kevin the Ambidextrous; Human; This freakish left and right handed person will sign his name legibly with both hands! How freakish is that?! He works for Madame Lulu at the Carnivorous Carnival, then later joins Olaf, but is otherwise a normal Human; Told he's a normal human.

18. Phil; Human; This optimistic fellow works for a company that has the most inhumane policies implemented on their workers; Wal-mart! Lucky Smells Lumbermill! Will be told he's a normal human.

19. Fiona; Traitor; Brother of the Hook-handed man, lover of Klaus, Fiona betrays the Baudelaires when she was reunited with her brother. She counts as a wolf victory.

20. Dewey Denouement; Millwright; The indifferent brother of the Denouement triplets. He very closely resembles his brothers that it's very difficult to distinguish him from his other two brothers. Listen to him closely, though! His words will reflect which side he's really on.* Will be told he's a normal human.

*This is a simple reference to a quote in the books where Snicket insists that the reader should be able to tell the difference between the brothers despite the fact that they are all virtually identical, even in dialect and context. No clues will be provided about which side in the game from the host.

Order of Operations:
Kidnapping > Painting > Seering / Guarding / Researching > Killings > Psychic Readings > Day Phase

Terms of roles:
Kidnapper Wolf: A unique kind of wolf found only in this game. The Kidnapper wolf pushes out a HUMAN from the game every night phase, thereby "kidnapping" player. That player's power is revoked. That player cannot vote and cannot be voted on during day phase. If Kidnapper Wolf doesn't send in a vote or if Olaf is killed, the kidnapped person is randomized.

Painter Wolf: A wolf who has the power to temporarily change the color of any person to any color they want. That color would change back to it's original color the following night phase.

Wolf Shaman: Basically, a seer, but on the wolf's team. Simple as that.

Wolf Assassin: The Wolf Assassin is a special kind of wolf. Unlike regular wolfs, The Wolf Assassin does not know who the other wolves are and vice verca. The Wolf Assassin has his own independent night kill. He's pretty much a vigilante, but on the wolf's side.

Seer: A human who has the power to see the color (in other words, the role) of another player.

Researcher: A human who has the power to research the actions of another player. Specifically who they voted for in the course of the game. (Unlike typical TWGs, this game has you send your lynch vote in a private message to the host instead of posting on the topic. You can certainly still expose your vote on the topic, but it will not be counted if it's not PM'd to the host).

Vigilante: A human who has the power to kill another player during night phase.

Guard: A human who has the power to protect another player in the game, thereby revoking any kills on said player.

Psychic: A human who has the ability to know how many red colors there are left in the game. Remember, the painter could still be in play. :P

Angel: A human who has the power to revive a fallen player upon his own death. Cannot use his revival on himself nor can he use it as a "preventing" of a kill.

Traitor: A human who sides with the wolf. The traitor's very existence is beneficial to the wolves as he counts towards the wolf's victory.

Millwright: A human who is seered the color orange.
