A Wolfsbane is a role that is immune to wolfings. For obvious reasons, this role is nearly always Human.

Note that a Wolfsbane is considered to only be immune to Wolf-directed kills; thus Vigilantes and Serial Killers can usually still kill the Wolfsbane.

Rarely, Wolfsbane may also be seen as a role modifier, enabling someone with another role ability to survive wolfings. Furthermore, any form of Wolfsbane may be X-Shot, limiting the amount of kills that a player with the role/modifier can survive.

Variations

Some hosts will extend the Wolfsbane's protection to all "evil" factions, protecting them from either a Serial Killer or a second wolf team.

A role that is immune to all nightkills is properly called an Omnibane.
